Cycling UK (CTC) – HarBUG Article

Cycling UK (formerly CTC) are putting together publicity for national Bike Week in June. As part of this they are writing a piece about HarBUG.

They would like to hear from someone who has started to cycle to work or become a regular cyclist because of HarBUG and / or joining in one of our Cycle to Work days (and Bike week).

Please if you can spare a few minutes to talk to Cycling UK contact chair@harbug.org.uk and we will put you in touch. From feedback there are quite a few people who have started cycling by joining in the Cycle to Work days, which of course is one of the reasons we run them.

Also don’t forget there is a talk about Safe and Confident Cycling on Thurdsay (12th May) at 12:15 in G59 of Diamond House. The talk is by Kath Cocrane of the West Oxfordshire Cycle Project, who will also be running the training on the following two Thursdays. G59 is located on the ground floor of Diamond House, if you enter through the front entrance then go to the corridor on the right under the bridge, the meeting room is ahead. If you have not got a Campus organisation security pass to get into the RAL site contact chair@harbug.org.uk to get signed in.
