Cycle to Work / Bike to Work Days

The campus and nearby towns are expanding putting pressure on the roads, the amount of traffic is increasing along with traffic jams. According to the government our waistlines are increasing which is causing health problems for the nation. Stress in everyday life is increasing and to top it all the whole planet is heating up due to our reliance on fossil fuels. Cycling can help with all these problems in one go.

Save your health, save your sanity, save the planet and save a wedge of cash - start cycling to work and reap the benefits.

Harwell Bicycle Users Group organise 'Bike to Work' days to allow anybody who wants to try or start cycling to work the chance to cycle in, escorted with a group of cyclists. Everyone welcome at all fitness levels. Free breakfast for first time cyclists.
