The Harwell Bicycle Users Group email group is the easiest way for cyclists to find out what is going on. It uses a 'majordomo server' running at the STFC Daresbury Laboratory.
Once you are subscribed to it you can send an email to a single address and have it distributed automatically to all the other subscribers. We use it to pass on news about HarBUG and local cycle network developments and to promote rides and other events that are of interest to cyclists at the Harwell Campus.
To join: send an email to: majordomo@dl.ac.uk. Leave the title blank and put SUBSCRIBE HARBUG-L as the message text.
You will automatically be logged on and will receive instructions on how to use it.
To send a message to all the subscribers you address your emails to: harbug-l@dl.ac.uk
Messages can only be sent as plain text and not html. Attachments cannot be sent with emails.
