{"id":2749,"date":"2016-01-04T21:10:56","date_gmt":"2016-01-04T21:10:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.harbug.org.uk\/?p=2749"},"modified":"2020-04-02T18:49:51","modified_gmt":"2020-04-02T18:49:51","slug":"new-science-vale-cycle-map","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.harbug.org.uk\/?p=2749","title":{"rendered":"New Science Vale Cycle Map"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sustrans has been engaged by the County Council to update the Science Vale Cycle Map, and\u00a0Sustrans would\u00a0like\u00a0HarBUG member&#8217;s\u00a0help improve the next edition of the map, which is due to be published\u00a0in the\u00a0Spring.<\/p>\n<p>An interactive Science Vale map portal has been set up,\u00a0for the purpose, which can be found here: <a href=\"https:\/\/communitymaps.sustrans.org.uk\/ScienceVale.php\">https:\/\/communitymaps.sustrans.org.uk\/ScienceVale.php<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Full instructions are given in the user guide, via the icon on the right hand side of the interactive map, including details of how to register and add comments or suggested changes to the map and in particular:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Corrections to the map, based on your local knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Recommendations for additions or deletions to routes currently shown on the map<\/li>\n<li>Suggestions for additional features not currently shown on the map<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please put forward your individual responses directly onto the Sustrans map as set out in the user guide \u2013 <strong>no later than 22<sup>nd<\/sup> January, 2016<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The routes shown in green on the map have been transcribed from the present Science Vale map; those shown in blue are from Sustrans\u2019 mapping, which has been compiled from local input over the years, and is in need of updating. Please feel free to amend any of this route information \u2013 we will then check out suggestions, reconcile all the data, and feed consolidated amendments back to the County Council.
