Don&#8217;t be fooled by the words consultation or proposed, it has already been passed and will be built within the next six months &#8211;\u00a0&#8216;Big sigh&#8217;. It is unlikely to improve cycling for commuters and we have seen from the recent post, when a cycle path is built motorists expect you to use it even if it is useless.<\/p>\n<p>The whole of the cycle provision along Wantage Road makes a good case study of how good intentions (to provide cycle infrastructure) can turn bad due to little or no overall planning\u00a0and out of date thinking. There is a lot of wasted money.<\/p>\n<p>HarBUG will be responding to the &#8216;consultation&#8217; for what it is worth.
