{"id":3989,"date":"2019-08-13T12:14:37","date_gmt":"2019-08-13T12:14:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.harbug.org.uk\/?p=3989"},"modified":"2020-04-02T18:48:53","modified_gmt":"2020-04-02T18:48:53","slug":"oxfordshire-cycling-survey-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.harbug.org.uk\/?p=3989","title":{"rendered":"Oxfordshire Cycling Survey 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>HarBUG invites and encourages you to take part in <strong>Oxfordshire County Council&#8217;s Cycling Survey 2019<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/consultations.oxfordshire.gov.uk\/consult.ti\/Cyclesurvey2019\/consultationHome\">https:\/\/consultations.oxfordshire.gov.uk\/consult.ti\/Cyclesurvey2019\/consultationHome<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The survey will only take a few minutes to complete.\u00a0 (Follow the link, read the guidance, then select &#8216;Other Ways to Respond&#8217;.)\u00a0 It does not matter whether you are an experienced cyclist or a novice; the Council is keen to collect as wide a range of views as possible.\u00a0 Please submit your response by <strong>6th September<\/strong>. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This survey supports the production of the first \u201cLocal Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plans\u201d.\u00a0 LCWIPs will set out cycle networks for each town\/area and will identify what improvements are needed to make the cycle network more attractive to existing and future cyclists.\u00a0 LCWIPs are part of the Government&#8217;s Cycling and Walking Investment Strategy, for which Oxfordshire has already secured funding.\u00a0 Oxfordshire&#8217;s first LCWIPs are being produced for Oxford, Bicester and Didcot.\u00a0 But the Council wish to extend this to other areas.\u00a0 So it is important that we respond for ALL of our areas, ie Abingdon, Wantage, Grove, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Your views and opinions matter.
