  Cycle repair stands will be fitted on Campus this month. A proposal for HarBUG members.

  The new cycle repair stands are being installed today. You may have noticed one being installed next to the RAL goods inwards turn on Fermi Avenue. Another is being installed at the Harwell pavilion, next to the Thomson Avenue entrance and one on the new road off Road 8. They are well equipped with tools and a pump. If you are having a lunchtime walk they are worth having a look at. This is a good facility for Campus cyclists.

  I think it is a great idea but who will be responsible for repairs and maintenance (of the stands!). Will there be a contact email address/phone number to report faults? A tool is bound to come off an attachment eventually, or an Allen key end get rounded off or the pump start leaking.
