Hello, does anybody have any information regarding cycling infrastructure on the new roundabout being build on the A417/WELR (Kingsgrove bypass). I know they aren’t finished yet but there don’t seem to be any dropped curb crossing points which would allow you to cross the A417 and onto West Lockinge Rd to join up with the 544/Icknield way. Thanks

HarBUG has been lobbying developer and county council – since before construction started – to provide a proper crossing exactly as you describe. Despite being a no-brainer, it always seems surprisingly difficult to get designs changed after approval. The dropped kerbs may yet appear, and this is being regularly raised with local councillors and council officers.
